Pelham City Schools Honor Teacher Of The Year Nominees
The Pelham Board of Education announced the nominees for Teacher of the Year and Support Staff of the Year for each city school.

PELHAM, AL - As the first semester of the 2018-19 school year winds down, teachers and students alike will get a much-needed break this week. Teachers and school support staff might be some of the most under-appreciated workers in the community, and Pelham City Schools recognized recently the teachers and staff members who are nominees for Teacher of the Year and Support Staff of the Year.
The nominees are:
- Katelyn Greer and Melanie Sherer from Pelham Oaks Elementary
- Elicia Phlillps and Carla Demsky from Pelham Ridge Elementary
- April Wallace and Evelyn Price from Pelham Park Middle School
- Anna Laura Dyer and Lisa Detwiller from Pelham High School.
