Police: Alabaster Teen Who Died In Crash Texting While Driving
A 17-year-old Thompson High School student who was killed in a crash on I-65 last week was texting while driving, police say.

ALABASTER, AL - A 17-year-old Thompson High School student who dies in an accident on Interstate 65 February 22 was texting while driving, authorities say. Camryn Callaway, a senior at Thompson High School, was killed when her vehicle ran into the back of an 18 wheeler last Thursday night.
Callaway's mother, Michelle Lunsford, spoke with WIAT about what this tragedy means, and how dangerous texting and driving is. Video of Lunsford's message regarding texting and driving can be seen here:
