Train And Tractor Trailer Collide In Pelham
No injuries have been reported, but Pelham police are working a collision between a train and a tractor trailer Thursday afternoon.
PELHAM, AL - The Pelham Police Department was on the scene Thursday afternoon at Highway 52 and Lee Street where a train and tractor trailer apparently collided. Police say there are no injuries.
Pelham PD announced just after 1 p,m. Thursday that the accident occurred and that motorists are asked to avoid the area. The incident has caused traffic issues in the area and should continue to disrupt traffic for most of the afternoon.

The Stonehaven Trail crossing is currently blocked, according to police reports. For drivers looking to get into Stonehaven, to Helena the detour will be Highway 31 to Alabaster and Industrial Road or Highway 261 through Old Town.
