Two Men Arrested After Pizza Delivery Vehicle Stolen

The Helena Police Department arrested a Pinson man and his accomplice after a pizza delivery driver reported his car stolen.

HELENA, AL - Two men have been arrested in Helena after a pizza delivery driver reported his vehicle stolen.

Saturday night at approximately 9:22 p.m., Helena Police were contacted by a young man who was delivering pizza on Jenkins Circle in Helena. The man left his car running as he delivered a pizza, and a black car stopped next to his car and a white male got out of that car and stole the victim's delivery car.

A Helena Police officer spotted the pizza delivery car a short time after the advisory and attempted to stop it. The driver stopped at Hwy 52 and Elvira Road and fled into the woods. The officer deployed his K9 partner who led police to the suspect, 30-year-old Justin Artimus Hall of Pinson. Hall was taken into custody without incident. The victim's vehicle was released to him.
