• Russellville Woman Charged With Murder After Husband Found Shot Dead (wiregrassdailynews.com) — Russellville deputies have arrested a local woman on a murder charge after her husband, 69-year-old Timothy Clutts, was found shot in a chair inside their Duncan Creek Road home Sunday evening. Authorities say she called 911, admitted to the shooting, and claimed she feared for her life following a recent surgery. An autopsy is pending as investigators continue reviewing the case.
   

• Elderly woman allegedly shot, killed husband while he watched TV because he bothered her (local12.com) — Russellville authorities say a 65-year-old woman has been charged with murder after her 69-year-old husband was found shot in their living room Sunday evening. Investigators report she called 911 herself and allegedly admitted to the shooting, which followed a day of tension while she recovered from recent heart surgery. The case remains under investigation by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.
   

• Woman Shot Husband Because She Was Annoyed With Him for Checking On Her (kansas.com) — A Russellville woman has been jailed without bond after authorities say she admitted to fatally shooting her husband inside their home, following tension while she recovered from heart surgery. Investigators with the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office are reviewing the couple’s history but say they’ve found no prior domestic-related calls to the residence over the past six years.
