1 Dead, 3 Injured In Pair Of Overnight Shootings In Tuscaloosa

Investigators are actively working a pair of shootings on Willow Lane and off of 60th Street in Tuscaloosa that left one dead and three hurt

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit (VCU) says one person is dead and three others injured following a pair of overnight shootings in Tuscaloosa.

VCU Captain Marty Sellers that the multi-agency unit is working one shooting in the city's West End on Willow Lane, where a man was reportedly shot and killed.

The other shooting, he said, occurred in the south end of the county at Branscomb Apartments on 60th Street. Sellers said three people were injured in that shooting, including one who is currently in critical condition.

No arrests or further details have been provided in either shooting as the investigations move forward.
