13 Arrested In Tuscaloosa INTERCEPT Child Exploitation Sting Operation

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Tuscaloosa INTERCEPT Task Force on Tuesday confirmed the arrests of 13 people following a multi-agency undercover operation targeting individuals accused of attempting to exploit children online.

Authorities said investigators posed as juveniles on online platforms during the operation.

The suspects are accused of communicating with undercover investigators and arranging meetings for unlawful sexual activity with a child..

Those arrested and the charges announced by the task force include:

• Levi Quinones — Human Trafficking I; Traveling to Meet a Child for an Unlawful Sex Act
• Eric Layton — Human Trafficking I; Traveling to Meet a Child for an Unlawful Sex Act
• Jordan Washington — Human Trafficking I; Traveling to Meet a Child for an Unlawful Sex Act
• Jacob Hernandez — Human Trafficking I; Traveling to Meet a Child for an Unlawful Sex Act
• Tonarius Brown — Electronic Solicitation of a Child; Traveling to Meet a Child for an Unlawful Sex Act
• Thomas Doughty — Human Trafficking I; Traveling to Meet a Child for an Unlawful Sex Act
• Martin Macuixtle-Cuevas — Human Trafficking I; Traveling to Meet a Child for an Unlawful Sex Act
