- DCH Health System has seen its number of coronavirus hospitalizations stay below triple digits for four straight days as of Sunday, despite seeing a slight uptick to 99 total inpatients. The hospital system also offered vaccinations to Tuscaloosa area educators over the weekend, in the hopes of further combating the spread of the virus in the community.
- The Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama will hold its 2021 Quarterly Workforce Summit on Tuesday via Zoom, where topics will be addressed such as workforce development, workforce needs, challenges and solutions with fellow industry leaders. The Chamber says the event is free and open to industry leaders, educators, policy makers and anyone involved with workforce development. Click here to register.

- The No. 10 Alabama Crimson Tide men's basketball team (15-5, 10-1 SEC) will look to rebound from its first conference loss of the season over the weekend to Missouri. The Tide will travel to Columbia, South Carolina Tuesday to take on USC (3-5, 5-7 SEC), with tipoff set for 5:30 p.m.
- Alabama gymnastics (4-0) will travel to Athens on Friday for a road meet against the University of Georgia (1-3) at 6 p.m.
