Alabama Baseball To Play Doubleheader Saturday Due To Possible Inclement Weather

The Crimson Tide will play two games Saturday due to the threat of inclement weather on Sunday.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Alabama baseball will now play a doubleheader against Washington State on Saturday as part of opening weekend due to expected inclement weather on Sunday.

UA Athletics said game two of the weekend series between the Crimson Tide and Cougars is scheduled to begin at noon at Sewell-Thomas Stadium, with game three set to follow approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game.

Fans with tickets for either Saturday or Sunday will be admitted to the doubleheader.

Saturday ticketholders will have seat priority for the noon contest, while Sunday ticketholders will have seat priority for the second game of the day.

Alabama officials also announced that fans attending Saturday night’s men’s basketball game against South Carolina can present that ticket to receive a $2 ticket offer for baseball.

Both baseball games will be streamed live on SEC Network+.
