Alabama Boxing Hall Of Fame Names Class Of 2026
The induction ceremony is set for the 10th annual Hall of Fame Boxing Show on June 20 at the Bryant Conference Center.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Alabama Boxing Hall of Fame will honor some of the state's most accomplished figures in boxing when it inducts its Class of 2026.

The induction ceremony is set for the 10th annual Hall of Fame Boxing Show on June 20 at the Bryant Conference Center.

The event will be presented by Skyy Boxing and begin at 6 p.m., with doors opening at 5 p.m.
The Alabama Boxing Hall of Fame says the evening will celebrate the past, present and future of boxing in the state through a Hall of Fame induction ceremony, a professional fight card and recognition of the state's top amateur boxers.

Among those being inducted into the Alabama Boxing Hall of Fame are former professional boxer Larry Marks of Selma in the professional boxer category, while Napolean Cleveland of Selma and Lem Franklin of Mobile will be honored as amateur boxers.
Bob Scanlon of Mobile will be inducted in the old-timer category.
The manager, trainer and promoter category includes Charlie Hutchinson of Tuscaloosa, Roy Jones Sr. of Georgiana and Pensacola, Florida, and Oliver Miller of Columbus, Mississippi.
State Sen. Gerald Allen of Tuscaloosa and Woodstock Mayor Jeff Dodson will be recognized in the support personnel category.
In addition to honoring the Hall of Fame class, the event will feature a six-bout professional boxing card.
Local fighters Deon Nicholson and Ke'Eric Hinton are scheduled to compete.
Organizers said the event also will recognize the future of the sport by presenting annual amateur boxing awards to Alabama's top Golden Gloves competitors.
General admission tickets are priced at $50, while ringside seats are $100.
