Alabama Credit Union To Host Charity Bingo Night July 26

The Torch Out Hunger Bingo Night will be held at Heat Pizza Bar on July 26 to benefit Secret Meals For Hungry Children.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Alabama Credit Union and its summer interns are set to host the Torch Out Hunger Bingo night at Heat Pizza Bar on July 26 to benefit Secret Meals For Hungry Children.

All proceeds will go toward making and delivering food packs to children in the Tuscaloosa area.

The luau-themed bingo night will begin at 5:30 p.m. and last until 8:30 p.m., with participants given the opportunity to compete for prizes while enjoying specials on pizza and drinks.

The Torch Out Hunger Bingo Night will also include an online silent auction that will be open from July 19 through the bingo night event.

Alabama Credit Union started Secret Meals For Hungry Children in 2008, which has since expanded throughout the state of Alabama and northwest Florida. As part of its efforts, the credit union provides all promotional and operational funding for the Secret Meals program, with 100% of every penny donated going toward purchasing food packs.

Tickets for the event are $10 each and include entry to every round of bingo, as well as a koozie and other giveaways.

Alabama Credit Union says winning bids will be announced at 8:15 p.m. the night of the event.

Silent auction items include:

  • Wahoo 26” bike from Trek Bicycle
  • Free night stay at Hotel Indigo Tuscaloosa
  • Two rounds of golf for 4 at Indian Hills Country Club
