Alabama Gymnastics To Celebrate Big Al's Birthday Friday

Fans attending early can take part in birthday-themed activities beginning at 5 p.m., including balloon animals, face painting and more.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Alabama gymnastics will return to Coleman Coliseum Friday night to host the Missouri Tigers in a Southeastern Conference meet that will double as a birthday celebration for the Crimson Tide’s beloved mascot.

The meet is set to begin at 6:30 p.m., with doors opening at 5 p.m. for warmups and pre-meet festivities celebrating Big Al’s birthday.

Tickets are priced at $15 for adults and $10 for youth.

The pre-meet schedule also includes a performance by the Alabama Crimsonettes at 6:05 p.m., followed by Big Al’s “Bama-ly Birthday Bash” at 6:10 p.m.

Free parking will be available in the 2nd Avenue Lot, Capstone Parking Deck and the Soccer Lot.

Accessible parking will be offered in the Soccer Lot and the 2nd Avenue Lot.

The Soccer Lot will also feature complimentary, accessible Crimson Ride shuttle service starting 90 minutes before the first vault and continuing until 30 minutes after the meet concludes.

Friday’s meet will also be streamed on SEC Network+ through the ESPN app and WatchESPN.com.
