I’m proud of the guys,” Alabama head coach Jay Seawell said. “They prepared hard in the couple of weeks leading up to the season opener and we just played well throughout the week. Today was awesome. I saw our guys play and compete with a lead, battle adversity and hold on to win.”
Seawell praised Jennings for his perseverance, saying the junior “pushed through some low times” to deliver a pressure-winning putt on No. 18.
