TUSCALOOSA, AL — Alabama ONE on Monday honored Hale County High football standout Erius Hamilton for his performance in a blowout win over Holt on Friday by naming him the financial institution's Athlete of the Week.

Hamilton was nominated by his head coach Ryan Locke following the 41-0 win over the Ironmen.

In the win, Hamilton was the difference at wide receiver and kick returner, rushing four times for 47 yards and a score.
Hamilton also returned six kickoffs and averaged 52 yards per return.

Hale County (2-2) will return to action this Friday at home against American Christian Academy.
