Alabama basketball freshman forward Brandon Miller has been selected as the Southeastern Conference Player of the Year

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Alabama basketball freshman forward Brandon Miller has been selected as the Southeastern Conference Player of the Year, which was announced by the league office in Birmingham on Monday.

Jahvon Quinerly was also presented Co-Sixth Man of the Year, while Mark Sears earned All-SEC Second Team honorees and Charles Bediako was named to the SEC All-Defensive Team.

Miller was also named to the SEC All-Freshman team, along with teammates Jaden Bradley and Noah Clowney.
The six Crimson Tide players earned nine awards in total, which is the most ever in program history for the Tide.
