Alabama's Dallas Turner Named Bednarik Player Of The Week

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Following a big win over No. 15 Ole Miss on Saturday, Crimson Tide linebacker Dallas Turner has been selected as the Bednarik Player of the Week by the Maxwell Football Club.

Turner, a junior from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, recorded five tackles and two sacks, along with logging a career-high 3.5 tackles for loss.

His performance was also good enough to help the Crimson Tide defense to a second consecutive game with 5 sacks and 10 tackles for a loss. It also saw Turner rise to the top of the SEC's sack list through four games of the 2023 season.

The Crimson Tide (3-1, 1-0 SEC) will return to action Saturday when the team travels to Starkville to take on Mississippi State (2-2, 0-1 SEC)
