Aldridge Named Media Director, PIO At Shelton State Community College

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Shelton State Community College on announced that Ashleigh Aldridge has been hired as the new director of media and communication.

Aldridge will also serve as Shelton State's public information officer tasked with managing all areas of the college’s marketing and communications efforts.

She previously served as the communications director for the Office of the Vice President for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB).

Shelton State said Aldridge's career has included various roles including news producer, social media manager, and associate director of media and public relations.

Aldridge holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from Alabama State University and a master’s degree in management-public relations from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
