TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency is asking the public for information in a fatal hit-and-run that resulted in the death of a pedestrian in Tuscaloosa County early Monday morning.

ALEA Public Information Officer Senior Trooper Reginal King said on Monday that at approximately 5:50 a.m. Monday morning, Christopher Darnell Moss, 30, of Tuscaloosa, was killed when he was struck by a vehicle believed to be a 2011-2017 Dodge Ram pickup.

The incident occurred near Duncanville on U.S. Highway 82, King said, approximately 11 miles east of the Tuscaloosa city limits.
King said Moss was pronounced deceased at the scene, before going to to say that the vehicle involved is believed to have sustained damage to its passenger-side mirror.
