Juvenile Found Safe After Being Reported Missing In Northport

The Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help locating a missing 12-year-old girl last seen Tuesday in Northport.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public’s help locating a missing 12-year-old girl last seen Tuesday evening in the Northport area.

TCSO says Brandi Simmons was reported missing after she was last seen around 5 p.m. Feb. 24 in the area of Shady Hill Road.

Simmons is described as a Black female juvenile who was last seen wearing green sweatpants and a green T-shirt.

She was also reported to have her hair in braids pulled into a ponytail on top of her head.

Officials noted she may now be wearing blue jeans.

Those with information as to Simmons' whereabouts are urged to call 911 or contact the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff’s Office at (205) 752-0616.
