Aliceville Man Killed, Tuscaloosa Woman Injured In Monday Wreck In Pickens County
A Pickens County man was killed Monday morning and a Tuscaloosa woman hospitalized in a two-vehicle crash on State Highway 17.
TUSCALOOSA, AL — A Pickens County man was killed Monday morning and a Tuscaloosa woman hospitalized in a two-vehicle crash on State Highway 17, roughly two miles south of Carrollton.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency says at approximately 10:10 a.m. a 2008 Mazda 5 driven by 61-year-old Anthony L. Miller, collided head-on with a 2017 Dodge Caravan driven by a Tuscaloosa woman.

ALEA Senior Trooper Reginald King said Miller was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene, near the 197 mile marker.
The Tuscaloosa woman driving the minivan also suffered injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

The crash remains under investigation by ALEA's Highway Patrol Division.
