Area Leaders To Speak At Chamber's 'State of the Community' Event

The Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama is set to host its 2023 Chamber in Session: State of the Community event on Aug. 9.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama is set to host its 2023 Chamber in Session: State of the Community event on Aug. 9 at the Bryant Conference Center.

Registration is open for the event until Aug. 2 at 11 a.m..

The event will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and include Tuscaloosa Mayor Walt Maddox, Northport Mayor John Hinton and Tuscaloosa County Probate Judge Rob Robertson.

As part of the program, the leaders will provide a comprehensive update on the State of the Community.

The event typically attracts 250 or more people, with Chamber in Session events including the State of the Community, State of the State and State of the Economy.

The Chamber says registration is $45 for Chamber members and $55 for non-members.
