Auditions For Kip Tyner's 'Talent Search' To Begin Thursday

Have a talent that you think deserves some recognition? Then come to the Belk Center on Thursday for an audition.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Longtime television personality and Tuscaloosa City Council President Kip Tyner is once again set to host audition's for his annual "Talent Search," marking the 34th year for the showcase.

The event will be made possible by Kip Tyner Productions, along with Tuscaloosa Tourism & Sports, with auditions beginning Thursday, Aug. 18 at 6 p.m. at the Belk Center.

Auditions will also be held Friday at 6 p.m. and Saturday at 1 p.m. The finals will then be held on Saturday, Aug. 27 at the Bama Theatre, with over $5,000 in cash prizes offered.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Eagles' Wings, Inc. — a private non-profit 501(c)(3) that aims to address needs and welfare of individuals with special needs.
