Bama Hoops To Pay Tribute To 'Fluff' During Season Opener

Here's how Alabama men's basketball plans to honor the memory of its most dedicated super fan, who died earlier this year.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Alabama basketball announced on Friday that it will honor the late Cameron Luke Ratliff, affectionately known as "Fluffopotamus," in between its season-opening doubleheader on Tuesday, Nov. 9.

UA Athletics said the recognition will pay tribute to Ratliff and will conclude with the presentation of a plaid jacket to the new Crimson Chaos president — a tradition the university plans to carry on in Ratliff's honor.

The North Carolina native was an active student leader and president of Crimson Chaos, who passed away in April at the age of 23 due to complications from COVID-19.
