Barrett Jones To Provide Color Commentary On Radio Broadcast At Tennessee
The former Crimson Tide football great will be in the booth on Saturday while John Parker Wilson is on assignment in Spain.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Crimson Tide football fans will get a blast from the past this weekend as former All-American offensive lineman Barrett Jones is set to temporarily fill the broadcast booth seat of John Parker Wilson when the Tide takes on Tennessee in Neyland Stadium.

The Crimson Tide Sports Network made the announcement via social media on Monday, mentioning that Wilson would be on assignment in Spain this week.

The radio broadcast will feature play-by-play from longtime Alabama Athletics broadcaster Chris Stewart and color commentary from Jones, while Roger Hoover will be reporting from the sidelines.
Jones played for the Crimson Tide under Nick Saban from 2008-2012 and was a part of three BCS national championship teams. Receiving All-American and All-SEC honors during the 2011 and 2012 seasons, Jones also was named the winner of both the Outland and the Remington trophies during his time at the Capstone.

Kickoff for No. 3 Alabama (6-0, 3-0 SEC) at No. 6 Tennessee (5-0, 2-0) is set for 2:30 p.m.
