The event will also serve as a celebration of life for Jaden — a Northside Middle School student who died in 2019 at the age of 11 after a courageous battle with cancer that saw him earn the nickname "Superman."

Diagnosed with Neuroblastoma, Jaden received numerous blood transfusions throughout his extended battle, which will be the central cause for Wednesday's blood drive.
