Boligee Man Killed, Vance Resident Injured In Crash Near Eutaw
A Boligee man is dead after a multi-vehicle crash Thursday afternoon on Alabama Highway 14 in Greene County.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — A Boligee man is dead and a Vance resident is hospitalized after a multi-vehicle crash Thursday afternoon on Alabama Highway 14 in Greene County.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency says the fatal wreck occurred at approximately 1:30 p.m. Thursday when the 2017 Chevrolet Silverado driven by a Vance resident collided head-on with the 1990 Chevrolet 1500 driven by Lesley V. Carlisle, 69.

ALEA then said that following the initial collision, Carlisle's Chevrolet was struck by a 2017 International tractor-trailer driven by a man from Mississippi.
Carlisle died at the scene and the driver from Vance was injured and airlifted to DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa.

ALEA said the crash occurred approximately five miles west of Eutaw.
The fatal wreck remains under investigation.
