Lemonade Day is a national youth entrepreneurship program that teaches children how to start, own and operate a business through the experience of running a lemonade stand.

This summer, more than 80 Boys & Girls Clubs members in grades 3-5 spent five weeks learning the fundamentals of entrepreneurship ahead of the event.

The curriculum was led by Huntington Bank, formerly Cadence Bank, whose employees visited BGCWA locations to teach lessons on budgeting, customer service, branding, advertising, saving, investing, teamwork and collaboration.

During the event, club members will operate their own lemonade stands, serve original recipes, showcase their branding and put the business and communication skills they learned into practice.

In addition to purchasing lemonade, visitors will have the opportunity to tour the newly renovated Jaycee Park Club.

Guests can also purchase a VIP "Sip, Sample and Support" wristband in advance, allowing them to sample lemonade from every stand with expedited check-in on event day.
