Brookwood High Grad Named New Lakeview Fire Chief
Lakeview Fire Department's Tyler Doyle saw his interim tag removed as he has been officially named the new chief of the district.

LAKE VIEW, AL — Lakeview Fire Department's Tyler Doyle saw his interim tag removed as he has been officially named the new chief of the district.

Doyle's appointment and a three-year contract were approved by the district's Board of Directors Tuesday after Doyle had served as interim chief since May.

Doyle is currently employed with City of Tarrant's fire department and will still work with the department while taking on full-time duties in Lake View.
"I plan to lead the department from the front," Doyle told Patch. "I will still be well-involved on 911 calls with our personnel. We will grow our department from within. We have numerous personnel attending classes each month to gain knowledge and experience."

Doyle was raised in Lake View and is a graduate of Brookwood High School. He and his wife have two children and another on the way.
