Brookwood High Hosting Drum Corps International For Rehearsals

The ensemble will rehearse at the Brookwood High football stadium Thursday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and again on Friday

BROOKWOOD, AL — The Tuscaloosa County School System (TCSS) is inviting those in Brookwood and the surrounding community to enjoy the sights and sounds of some of the most accomplished students and directors in the marching band world.

TCSS says Brookwood High School will host Drum Corps International (DCI) Spirit of Atlanta, as the youth organization gears up to compete at Spain Park High School Friday evening.

DCI is credited with providing opportunities for brass, percussion, and color guard members to compete and travel across the country, with members selected to join the through an audition process.

TCSS said the ensemble will rehearse at the Brookwood High football stadium Thursday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and again on Friday from 8 a.m. to approximately 3 p.m.

The rehearsals are open to the public and free to attend.
