Historic Resting Places of Alabama features cemeteries and graveyards throughout the state. Each Alabama county is represented with at least one cemetery that has something unique to teach its visitors. Historic Resting Places of Alabama explores different funerary symbols, unusual architecture, fascinating history, and moving stories about the final resting places of Alabama’s denizens.
Mollie Smith Waters is a college instructor at Lurleen B. Wallace Community College in Greenville, Alabama, where she teaches American literature, composition, public speaking, theater, and humanities. When she is not teaching, writing, or presenting, Waters works with animal rescue. She is the proud pet mom of six dogs. She also enjoys hiking, biking, archery, ultra racing, and yoga.
