Capital Murder Arrest Made After Two Bodies Found In Burned Up Trailer In Holt
An arrest has been made after two bodies were found last month in a burned up trailer on Garber Street in Holt.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The second victim discovered in a burned down trailer in Holt last month has been identified and a man charged with capital murder.

Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit Commander Captain Jack Kennedy informed local media on Tuesday that Shelli Wallace was identified by the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences after her remains were found along with those of 42-year-old Eric Shane Hatter on May 12.

Kennedy then said after investigators collected evidence, two warrants were obtained for capital murder, with 39-year-old Patrick Darnell Campos charged and currently in the Tuscaloosa County Jail.
The two bodies were found in a mobile home on May 12 in the 1900 block of Garber Street in Holt, as Patch previously reported, after Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's deputies were called to the scene by relatives who had gone to check on the residents of the mobile home.

"Numerous items of evidence were sent to the state laboratory for forensic testing," Kennedy said on Tuesday. "Based upon the testing done on these items a suspect was developed. After subsequent investigation, this suspect was located by VCU and interviewed."
Campos has been denied bond on the capital murder charge.
