Cavender’s Boot City To Open Location In Midtown Village

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Western wear retailer Cavender’s Boot City announced on Tuesday it will open a new store in Tuscaloosa, marking the company’s fifth location in Alabama.

The 11,218-square-foot store will be located at 1800 McFarland Boulevard East in Midtown Village.

An opening date has not been announced at this time.

The Texas-based chain was founded more than 60 years ago and specializes in handcrafted Western boots and apparel.

The company says the new Tuscaloosa store will carry Cavender’s full line of men’s, women’s and children’s clothing and accessories, including hats, shirts, jeans, dresses, belts and workwear, as well as boots.

Brands available at the store will include Ariat, Wrangler and Resistol, along with Cavender’s private labels Rockin’ C, Rafter C and JRC & Sons.

The store will offer additional services such as boot fitting, hat shaping and boot stretching.

Customers will also be able to enroll in the company’s “My Cavender’s” loyalty program, which provides promotions, early access to sales and special-event invitations.
