TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama on Friday announced 44 individuals who have been selected for the 2022-23 class of Leadership Tuscaloosa.

Hosted by the Chamber, the nine-month leadership development program "provides a foundation for potential leaders to be involved and thrive in the community."

Shelton State Community College has also been named as the presenting sponsor of Leadership Tuscaloosa 2022-23.

As stated by The Chamber, the program provides valuable experiences through networking and intentional programming, with each participant gaining an acute awareness of a wide range of opportunities in Tuscaloosa County.

Amy Henderson, director of Career Services at Shelton State Community College, has been selected to serve as this year’s chair. A graduate of Leadership Tuscaloosa, Henderson is an active member of the Leadership Tuscaloosa Alumni Association.
