Charity Motorcycle Ride To Honor TPD Officer Killed In Line Of Duty
The Aug. 21 event will honor the memory of TPD Investigator Dornell Cousette, who was shot and killed in the line of duty in 2019.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Tuscaloosa Police Department and others are once again set to honor the memory of a fallen officer, friend and father with a memorial motorcycle ride.

The Aug. 21 event will honor the memory of TPD Investigator Dornell Cousette, who was shot and killed in the line of duty while responding to a call in 2019. Registration begins at 10 a.m., with kickstands going up at 11 a.m.

The 52-mile ride will begin at T-Town Harley-Davidson, before traveling I-20/59 to Greene County and back on Highway 11 and the interstate.
The cost to participate will be $25 per driver and $10 per passenger.

TPD says proceeds from the charity ride will fund a new fallen officer memorial stone at the recently-renovated TPD headquarters.
