Cities, County Give Updates On Closures For Christmas Holiday

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Here's a look at holiday schedules across the area as Christmas Eve and the Christmas holiday approach.

City of Tuscaloosa

• Tuscaloosa City Hall will close at 4 p.m. and 311 will close at 5 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 22 and remain closed on Friday, Dec. 23 and Monday, Dec. 26.
• Normal hours will resume on Tuesday, Dec. 27.
• On New Year’s Day, Tuscaloosa City Hall will close at 4 p.m. and 311 will close at 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 30 and remain closed on Monday, Jan. 2, 2023.
• Normal hours will resume on Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2023.
• Garbage, trash and recycling routes will be delayed one day during each of these weeks.

Tuscaloosa County

• County offices, including the Tuscaloosa County Courthouse & Annex, will be closed for the Christmas & New Year Holiday.
• County road camps will be closed through Monday, Jan. 2, 2023.
• Those with an emergency during our shutdown are asked to contact the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office at (205) 752-0616 or by dialing 911.

City of Northport

• Northport City Hall will be closed on Friday, Dec. 23 and Monday, Dec. 26 and Monday, Jan. 2, 2023.
