City Of Northport To Hold Holiday Open House December 16

Get in the spirit of the holidays when the City of Northport hosts its first-ever Holiday Open House on Thursday, Dec. 16.

NORTHPORT, AL — The City of Northport will ring in the season when it hosts its first-ever Holiday Open House on Thursday, Dec. 16 at 6 p.m.

For the Open House, City Hall will play host to Santa and Mrs. Claus, The Grinch, Elsa, Ana and Olaf from the Disney movie "Frozen."

Along with the cast of characters, there will be arts and crafts for the children and fun photo opportunities for attendees. Visitors will also be treated to the beautiful sounds of Tuscaloosa County High School's choir, who will perform Christmas carols.

Another offering for the kids will see a story time held with various city leaders and a special mailbox that sends letters directly to the North Pole.

The event will be kicked off by a small ceremony unveiling the city's new signage at City Hall, which will take place at 6:05 pm. The choir will begin at 6:15 p.m. and run through 7 p.m.

The event will end at 9 p.m.
