City Of Tuscaloosa Offering Christmas Tree Recycling Through Jan. 6
The City of Tuscaloosa is currently hosting a Christmas tree recycling event through Jan. 6, 2023.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The holidays are over amid the downhill run to 2023, prompting the City of Tuscaloosa to host a Christmas tree recycling event through Jan. 6, 2023.

City officials say live trees, wreaths and garlands may be dropped off at the Curry Environmental Services facility located at 3440 Reese Phifer Avenue.

The materials will then be recycled and greenery may be dropped off at any time.
Organizers said items dropped off must be completely free of decorations and lights, with a separate bin available for recycling Christmas string lights.
