Comfort Grounds To Celebrate Grand Opening In Downtown Tuscaloosa Friday

TUSCALOOSA, AL — A new coffee shop is set to celebrate its arrival in downtown Tuscaloosa with a grand opening event later this week.

Comfort Grounds Coffee will host its grand opening on Friday, April 17, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. at its location at 2218 University Blvd., Suite B.

The coffeeshop says the event will feature a variety of promotions, including free drip coffee all day and 50% off pastries with the purchase of any beverage.

Comfort Grounds Coffee will also offer $5 signature latte specials on an hourly basis.

Customers will be able to participate in raffle drawings for prizes such as branded mugs and cups, T-shirts, coffee and gift cards. Gift cards and merchandise will also be discounted by 20% during the event.

Live music is scheduled from noon to 2 p.m., with Andy Paxton set to perform.
