TUSCALOOSA, AL — A two-vehicle crash involving a commercial vehicle Tuesday morning has shut down all southbound lanes of Interstate 59 in Greene County.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) said the crash occurred at approximately 8:52 a.m. near the 37 mile marker.

Troopers with ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division are currently on scene investigating the crash.

Officials said all southbound lanes will remain closed for an undetermined amount of time.
