Company Rolls Out 300 E-Bikes On University Of Alabama Campus
There's a new mode of transportation available on the University of Alabama campus.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The University of Alabama now has a new transportation option available for those in the campus community to scoot around.

Veo and the University of Alabama this week announced a new partnership that will see the company place 300 Cosmo E Bikes on campus, which will be available for use by students, faculty, staff and campus visitors.

The bikes feature a throttle assist and are designed with a motor and pedals to make it easier for riders of varying body types and physical abilities to ride long distances comfortably while maintaining balance and control.
The new bikes can be found in designated parking corrals on campus and a map of locations can be viewed here. To use the bikes, riders can scan a QR code and pay $1 to unlock the device, before being charged $0.39 per minute for the duration of their trip.
