Cost Kutter Grocery Store To Open In Northport Friday
Northport's newest grocery store is officially set to open its doors in Buford Plaza on Friday.

NORTHPORT, AL — Northport will see its newest grocery store officially open on Friday in the former location of Save-A-Lot.

City Council President Jeff Hogg confirmed the news to Patch on Thursday, saying Cost Kutter will open Friday at 8 a.m. on McFarland Boulevard.

The location marks the first in Alabama for the discount grocery store chain as it opens its doors in Buford Plaza, where it shares the building with the Salvation Army Thrift Store.
Save-A-Lot permanently closed at the location in June.
