County Commission To Consider Hiring Practices, Condemnations
Here are the stories we'll be following along with during Wednesday's Tuscaloosa County Commission meeting.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Tuscaloosa County Commission is set for its regular meeting Wednesday morning, so let's take a quick look at the storylines I'll be following ...
- District 2 Commissioner Jerry Tingle will see his district make a dent in issues relating to blight, with seven different condemnations set to begin on Alabama Avenue, 22nd Street, Ridge Avenue, Coke Avenue and 16th Street NE.
- Southern Christian Leadership Conference President Rev. James Williams will once again speak to the county's hiring practices, following a push to revamp many archaic methods, while updating technology. This comes after the Commission approved a long list of recommendations made by a special committee headed up by District 4 Commissioner Reginald Murray.
- In other District 2 news, the Commission will vote to assign funds remaining from the Warrior River Water Project to be used to move a water main at Vance Elementary for Citizens Water Service.
Here's a look at the full agenda for Wednesday.
