TUSCALOOSA, AL — A single-vehicle crash early Monday morning prompted the closure of a portion of Crescent Ridge Road in Tuscaloosa County.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) says the crash occurred at approximately 12:45 a.m. Monday near 9th Street NE.

This resulted in the stretch of Crescent Ridge Road to be closed while wrecker crews work to recover the vehicle involved in the crash.

Troopers with ALEA's Highway Patrol Division are on the scene investigating the circumstances surrounding the wreck.
