Crews Battle Sunday House Fire In Northport

Several agencies were on scene at the house fire on Blueberry Drive in Carolwood Estates Sunday shortly before 1 p.m.

NORTHPORT, AL — Several Northport-area emergency agencies battled a Sunday afternoon house fire on Blueberry Drive in Carolwood Estates off of Mitt Lary Road.

While the fire was contained quickly after the call came in shortly before 12:30 p.m., extensive damage could be seen to one end of the house. The cause of the fire has not been released as of the publication of this story and it is unclear if there were any injuries as a result.

Northport Fire Rescue, Carroll's Creek Volunteer Fire Department and Northstar Paramedic Services all responded to call.
