Crimson Tide Grabs No. 1 Spot In USA TODAY Preseason Coaches Poll

Here's a look at the full rankings as the Crimson Tide gears up for the 2021 college football season.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Alabama Crimson Tide will look to defend its 2020 College Football Playoff title from the top spot in the rankings after coming in at No. 1 in the USA TODAY AFCA preseason coaches poll that was released on Tuesday.

The Crimson Tide received 63 of 65 first-place votes, the national publication reported, with Oklahoma securing the other two.

Alabama was joined by two other SEC teams in the top 10, with Georgia and Texas A&M coming in at No. 5 and No. 6, respectively.

The Tide will open up the 2021 college football season in a neutral side matchup in Atlanta against No. 16 Miami on Sept. 4.
