Crimson Tide Stays Put At No. 6 In Both Polls Following Win Over MSU

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Alabama Crimson Tide (7-1, 4-1 SEC) did not see its position move in either major poll on Sunday, sticking at No. 6 following a 30-6 Homecoming blowout of the No. 24 Mississippi State Bulldogs.

Unbeaten defending national champions Georgia retained the top spot in the AFCA Coaches Poll and the AP Poll on Sunday following a 55-0 win over Vanderbilt in Athens on Saturday.

Ohio State, Tennessee and Michigan also each received first-place votes in the Coaches Poll, while Clemson also received a vote in the AP Poll.
The Tide (7-1, 4-1 SEC) will have a bye week next Saturday, followed by a trip to Baton Rouge, Louisiana on Nov. 4 to take on the LSU Tigers.
