'Dangerous Offender' In Custody After TPD Closes Stretch Of McFarland Boulevard

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Tuscaloosa Police Department says a "dangerous offender" from another county is in custody after officers briefly closed McFarland Boulevard near 13th Street Wednesday afternoon.

TPD said around 1:15 p.m., TPD officers assistant the U.S. Marshals Service in taking the suspect into custody. Few other details about the suspect or incident have been made public at this time.
