DCH Health System To Host Virtual Hiring Fair June 8-15

The online hiring event will primarily target registered nurses and entry-level positions.

DCH Director of Employment and Workforce Development Kelly Nichols said the pandemic has presented unique challenges for the community and health care across the nation, which has the health care system focusing on hiring the right people.
“Whether you’re assisting patients at the bedside, ensuring they have their meals or providing a clean and healthy hospital environment, all positions are essential to DCH Health System operations," Nichols said. "We hope to fill more than 100 positions and look forward to helping jobseekers begin a fulfilling career at DCH."

The hiring event can be accessed on DCH’s Facebook page beginning June 8 or by visiting westalabamajobs.com/DCH.
Full-time and part-time positions include an immediate need for laboratory phlebotomists and registrar, with pay varying by position and experience. Some of these positions can earn up to $24 an hour.
Other immediate openings with signing bonuses:
- Registered Nurse: $18,000 signing bonus for specific units
- Patient Care Assistant, $1,500 signing bonus
- Nutritional Services, $1,500 signing bonus
- Environmental Services, $1,500 signing bonus
