Driver Leaves Scene After Crashing Truck Into Downtown Restaurant
Just before 2 a.m. officers received a call that a truck had struck the facade of Central Mesa on Greensboro Avenue.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Tuscaloosa Police Department is looking for the driver responsible for crashing a truck into a restaurant in downtown Tuscaloosa early Sunday morning.

TPD says just before 2 a.m. officers received a call that a truck had struck the facade of Central Mesa on Greensboro Avenue.

TPD spokeswoman Stephanie Taylor said the front of the building was damaged but no one was injured. She also said the driver left the scene and had not been located as of the publication of this story.
The investigation remains ongoing.
