Druid City Brewing Chili Cook-Off To Benefit Table Of Grace Food Pantry
Druid City Brewing Co. is inviting the community to bring their best recipes and appetites to its annual chili cook-off

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Druid City Brewing Co. is inviting the community to bring their best recipes and appetites to its annual chili cook-off, with a portion of proceeds benefiting Grace Presbyterian Church’s Table of Grace Food Pantry.

Druid City Brewing Co. owner Bo Hicks said the event supports the local food ministry, which he described as “near and dear” to the brewery and its staff.

Competitors can enter the cook-off for a $20 fee, while attendees who want to sample chili can purchase a $10 tasting pass.
Hicks said there is still time to sign up before the event.

Those interested in competing can also email druidcitychili@gmail.com or register in person at the taproom prior to cook-off day.
Judging will be conducted in three categories: best non-traditional chili, people’s choice and best overall.
Hicks said organizers are finalizing a panel of judges for the competition.
The cook-off will be followed by a live music performance at 7 p.m. featuring local musicians Haysop and Jacob Kynard.
